Gas Hob - how can I reduce the 'minimum' flame setting?

I have a NEFF gas hob, the problem is that even when the gas control knob is at the preset minimum position - the flame is too large and hot. I can achieve a small flame - but I have to carefully turn the knob to a position between maximum and off, not ideal or safe. Is there any way to reduce the gas flow to everything. I have checked - the regulator is new and the jets are correct for propane use.

Recurring hives w/o clear reason?

I have been getting hives daily since X-mas. That day, they were rather severe on my back and down to my thighs and dinner plate size. The last two nights (Including tonight) they have reappeared on my hips, upper arms and sporadically on my back. Not nearly as large, but quite consistent and they always go away overnight and return in the afternoon. They disappear entirely in between. Maybe one little one will stick thru the day. I would suggest you hook up your computer to the blackberry desktop manager software. Make sure you have fully backed up your device. You will need to do a reset of your device(which will delete everything so make sure your device is backed up fully). Once this has been done go into Options> Security options> General settings.. Hit the blackberry(menu on) and choose wipe handheld. Once you have done this watch the performance of the phone and see if that helps. You should then reload your personal contacts.

Do we stand a chance this month you think? Also how do you tell the difference between fertile CM and semen deposited a day or so prior? We tried to BD yesterday but got interupted right as DH was about to . When should I cut my tree down?

I have a monster of a tree in front of my house, the size of a 4 story building at least....Its dying. A few years ago woodpeckers spent 2 months covering it up in bullet holes. My friend who is a forester said they're only attracted to dead trees, so they must sense some rot or decay coming from it. Sure enough, the branches are showing this now. The branches from the bottom to half way up the tree are half brown...by this I mean the branches are brown leading away from the tree half way, then the remainder of the branch is still green approaching the tip of the branch. The top half of the tree is starting a little, but its still mostly green, in fact its still producing acorns up there. I'm not sure of the species of tree it is, I think its a douglas fir but not sure...the tree is not "branch heavy", meaning the branches are not climbable, so I don't think the weight of the tree will ever cause itself to tip over or anything. The trunk goes straight up like a telephone pole, so even if it were completely dead I think it would still stay up. So theres no safety reason it should come down....it'll just get really ugly soon, but even there its still pably noble looking for a few years more I should think. It may even take 10 years for all traces of green to be completely gone. Anyway, is there a time in a trees stages of death that makes it easier to cut down than other times? The tree can't be felled, theres nowhere for it to land, so it has to be pruned and sectioned.

18M Sulfuric acid burn?

I was in chemistry a week and a half ago and we were performing an experiment. I had removed my gloves, because the experiment was over. However, as i was cleaning up, I spilled some 18M sulfuric acid on my finger. Let me tell you, IT BURNED. I didnt tell my TA because it was time to leave, which I know was a bad idea. I ran it under for about 10 seconds, which is probably too short of a time. Its on my left pointer finger. Its difficult to describe how it looks. It is painful to the touch, and it hurts a lot more in cold weather or in rain. It is surrounded by a pinkish red color and then there are like little specs of brown that look like scabs. However, they arent scabs they are really deep. Is there any treatment that i need to follow up with? I have done some research and it says Sulfuric acid is the most dangerous when it is above 1.5 M, and this was 18M. Just let me know of anyway to get rid of the pain and or keep it from being infected. Just so I know that it isnt already infected, how will I know if it is infected and what are the implications of this?

3 squels to kingdom hearts 2 ?!?

Actually, I was extremely disappointed from this as well. Even though I already have all of the systems, I think its too much of a change to switch to all these different game systems, and I'm only used to the PS2. The three sequels sound great, but I just want them all to be on the PS2 because its much more comfortable since all of the other games were on the PS2 besides KH:CoM which was GREAT on the DS. I also find this an outrage and I completely agree with you. Also, none of these games involve something I'm interested in. I only want Sora involved, not Terra, Aqua, or Ven because this just makes the storyline way too confusing and its just another distraction. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days ONLY involves Roxas and I absolutely HATED playing as him in KH2, even though I want uncover more about him. And lastly, even though Kingdom Hearts Coded involves Sora, Sora only solves these puzzles and that doesn't seem fun at all. I'm very disappointed. If I were you, I'd go for the PSP one, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. It has said that it was going much more successful than all the other games. But anyway, I hope I answered your question!

When everyone who committed these acts was dead, then I would institute a code of chivalric love for women and children that would last for as long as God would let it. It is the vision of a beautiful, safe and chivalric world that matters, not the method. The ends always justify the means. Picture this: Children safe to play outside all day, women can walk down dark alleys with no fear, because the few pedophiles or rapists left are scared of execution, cowering in the dark in their basements as they should be. cases no longer exist, nor do pedophilia cases. There is no need. All women and children are safe. Forever. Wouldn't that be beautiful? My heart is guided by iced hatred, with a beautiful cause. This is a problem not only in America but all around the world. As the world population's age go up there is going to be a number of people who are retired but have to be fed. And the burden is going to fall on the younger generation. This is partly overcome by increased productivity and partly by governments policies in support of the older generations. Also re employing the older people will ease this burden a lot. Several government all around the world have increased the retirement age. Hope this answer gives you something to think about.

Do I have a right to be upset?

I live with my bestfriend and he means a lot to me. It's definitely a platonic relationship. But I feel that I'm giving more than I am getting back. When we need groceries, it's usually me who goes to the store to get them. He never pays me back and he never feels the need to actually come with me. He's low on money so I'm one to let that slide. At school, I usually end up buying him lunch and even though it's usually only a few bucks, it really adds up. Even out of school, like on weekends, he ask me to go get lunch for us. Again he never comes with me because he says he needs to do his homework or study. And again, I usually let that slide. Generally, all I ask of him is to be allowed to do homework with him, but he says no and will invite our mutual friends over and then lock the door. Right after I did a favor for him. I try to say no, and our other rooommate says I need to but when I try he just guilts me and I feel worse than if I just do it. He gets upset with me and says I never leave him alone (like wanting to study together) and I can't expect him to "hold my hand" after I do something nice. Practice practice practice. The track stand is just a balance trick. I've seen people practice with one hand on the top of the front wheel. The braking, locking the rear wheel thing, you have to learn to jump the bike. When you ride you should have the toe straps tightened, and then you have to stand up and pull up with the legs and arms in one motion so the rear wheel comes off the ground then lock the legs so when it lands the rear wheel skids to a stop. Sounds crazy but it works. On a road bike I can jump the bike over a hole maybe 12 inches wide. It's easier when you can coast and prepare. I've seen guys jump sideways up a curb. Crazy. The drive line has to be straight. Check it with a straight edge. Also it will be loud if the chain is worn out. Change the chain every 700 to 1000 miles based upon how hard you ride and if you clean and lube it (or not). When I put a new chain on my bike, it sounds like it's brand new, and shifts like it too. I ride about 4000 miles a year, so I go through 4 or 5 chains a year. It's a huge difference.Have fun!

Help tracing family tree back to Ireland!??!!?

Ive been helping my grandad trace our family tree for several years now and we have got completely stuck! Our ancestor 'James Curtis' was born in Ireland in 1821; we know this from the 1851 census where he is living with his wife agnes (b.1828) and his children (agnes b.1853, james b.1855, jane b.1860, mary b.1857 thomas b.1850 peter b.1864 margaret b.1866). From his marriage certificate (he was married in south shields) we know that his father was called peter and was also born in ireland. Is there any way we can trace our family back any further without knowing in which county in Ireland he was born? Is there any way of finding out this information. They were a relatively poor family (he was a chemical labourer) and the grave where he was buried is unmarked. We have no information as to when he travelled and settled in the UK, although we know his wife was scottish! Sorry for the information overload! We have been working on this project for so long and are frustrated as to being so stuck!! Any help much appreciated!

I ******* hate my life. I have terrible grades but I'm very smart I just can't do ****. I can't do my damn hw. When I delivered my son, I was soooooo drugged from the epidural i couldnt feel myself pushing (or not pushing) so while I was hard at work pushing, I glanced over at my husband who was sitting quietly in the corner of the room. He had the funniest look of horror on his face that i will never forget. My mom then told him to get up watch. So he did, then his face turned from horror to shear terror as he got closer to the action. So my mom asked him if he would like something to drink and he response was, No, I would like a trash can though... She pushes him the Biohazard bag. In the end, he could NOT wait the full 6 weeks. He was all over me by the 2nd week without "any". So my advise to you is DONT WORRY what he witnesses during the birth will be over looked when his first child is born. I have two children. They are 4 and almost 2. My oldest just went to the doctor for his check up and was fine. The weather all of a sudden got cold and yesterday it was so freakin hot. I know that my AGP supports 4x only but most of the video card available here are 8x, I was wondering if my motherboard can support a Ge Force 5500 or 5200 and can still function properly. well if they are breaded youu dont need to thaw them, just trow them in the oven and cook them. if they arent breaded and you are talking about chicken tenderloins you can just run them under COLD water for a few minutes to thaw them, then i rub mine in olive oil salt and pepper and throw them in the skillet until cooked through. they taste great and are perfect for salads
