I'm scared that my husband is going to be traumatized when he witnesses the birth of our firstborn!?
I have a great story for you that will help you alot. When I delivered my son, I was soooooo drugged from the epidural i couldnt feel myself pushing (or not pushing) so while I was hard at work pushing, I glanced over at my husband who was sitting quietly in the corner of the room. He had the funniest look of horror on his face that i will never forget. My mom then told him to get up watch. So he did, then his face turned from horror to shear terror as he got closer to the action. So my mom asked him if he would like something to drink and he response was, No, I would like a trash can though... She pushes him the Biohazard bag. In the end, he could NOT wait the full 6 weeks. He was all over me by the 2nd week without "any". So my advise to you is DONT WORRY what he witnesses during the birth will be over looked when his first child is born. He will be soo happy and overwhelmed with love, the blood and guts will not be a factor in your life after delivery
