Alligator snapping turtle?

Alligator snappers grow pretty slowly, unlike the common snapping turtles which grow very fast. As for tank size, forget about an aquarium for an adult. I would recommend a pond or at the very least a stock tank used to give water to livestock. Alligator snappers tend to be brown and common snappers tend to be black.
