How do I search my Yahoo IM archive files without individually reading everything for the last year?

I have to find this conversation that took place in the spring/early summer. I have far too many archived IMs to read them all individually. I did the "search" on the PC but it shows nothing, however I have a gut feeling you cant search archived files as a doent - because it isnt. So how do I find it?
