Parallels of the Vietnam War & Iraq War?

There are no parallels between the two - Vietnam was part of the cold war and Iraq was part of the global war on terror. Vietnam was fought by a draftee military and Iraq has been fought by an all volunteer force. causalities in Iraq have been astonishingly low considering how many soldiers have served.
