Why does racism still exist?

hi everyone im african from kenya.I still wonder out of all the years of strugle of equality and affirmative action why does this evil thing called racism still exist..especially in america.Almost all africans have no racist bone in them but when they go to western countries we ALWAYS WONDER!!!.pliz only serious responses
