Guys..I just told this guy I like his friend...do I have a chance with him?

Ok, so I just told this guy I hang out with that I like his friend and told him not to tell him! I also said that I think its a bit stupid as I'm sure he has many girlfriends (he looks good & is a nice person). I told him that we flirt sometimes. Then this guy I told just said to me..yeah, i guess he knows how to flirt with women! I was often jealous of how many women he was friends with. Then he said that he suspected that I liked him as he picked up on the chemistry in the air. Now Im worried..is this guy I like a womaniser..you know from what his friend said? I do know one girl he is friends with and it is totally platonic..I know as she is a really good friend of mine and is in love with her boyfriend. Do I have a chance?
