How can i become fun to talk to?

like what do i talk about. im kinda shy, but i really want to make friends, but i cant do that unless i talk about something intersting. so what can i bring up, or what actions should i do, i want attention, so when they have a party, theyll say, "yeah let's invite her, she hangs out with us a lot."-so then id be invited more often
